Peakover LLC ("Peakover," "we," "us," or "our") operates the Bigfluencer service available at bigfluencer.co (the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use the Service. Please read this policy carefully. 2. Information We Collect
Information you provide directly:
- Account data: your email address and a hashed (bcrypt-equivalent) version of your password when you register. We never store your password in plain text.
- Payment data: payment transactions are processed by Stripe, Inc. We receive only a session identifier and the number of credits purchased. We do not store or have access to your full card number, CVV, or billing address.
Information collected automatically:
- Log data: IP address, browser type, pages visited, and timestamps. This is used for security (rate limiting, fraud prevention) and service operation.
- Cookies: we set a single session cookie ("sid") that keeps you logged in. No third-party tracking cookies are used on the Service.
- Usage data: analyses you run (Instagram username queried, score result, credits consumed) are stored to populate your history and enable the comparison table.
Third-party data we process on your behalf:
- When you request an analysis, we query publicly available Instagram data through Apify Inc. (apify.com). We do not collect or store any personal data of third-party Instagram users beyond what is necessary to display the analysis result.
3. How We Use Your Information
- To create and maintain your account
- To process credit purchases and maintain your credit balance
- To deliver analysis results and maintain your 30-day history
- To enforce rate limits and prevent abuse
- To communicate with you about your account (e.g., password reset, billing issues)
- To comply with legal obligations
We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We do not use your data to serve behavioral advertising.
4. How We Share Your Information
We share information only in the following limited circumstances:

- Apify Inc.: Instagram data retrieval. Apify's privacy policy is available at apify.com/privacy-policy.
- Legal requirements: we may disclose information if required by law, court order, or government authority.
- Business transfers: if we merge with or are acquired by another company, your data may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you beforehand.
5. Data Retention
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. Analysis history is retained for 30 days from the date of the analysis, after which only summary metadata (username, score, date) is retained for display purposes. You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us.
6. Data Security
We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, including HTTPS encryption in transit, secure password hashing (scrypt), and HttpOnly session cookies. No method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Your Rights — California Residents (CCPA/CPRA)
If you are a California resident, you have the following rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA):
- Right to Know: you may request details about the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you.
